I want to see my mountains is a project carried out as part of Viavai - Smuggling cultural Switzerland Lombardia, a bi-national exchange program sponsored by the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia and implemented in partnership with the cantons of Ticino and Valais, the city of Zurich, the Ernst Göhner Foundation and sponsored by the Departments of Culture of the Lombardy Region and the City of Milan.
I want to see my mountains is an exhibition curated by Noah Stolz and on three institutions: The Museum MAGA Gallarate, which is promoting the project and which will take place at the main exhibition with vernissage February 7, 2015; the Cantonal Art Museum of Lugano, which provides spaces the East Wing and the Milan office of the Swiss Institute of Rome.

I want to see my mountains is an exhibition that offers a new image of that landscape plural and complex, human, historical and political, Italian and Swiss, which is the crossroads of travel, visions and stories. The project comes from a research project in which the museum, the curator and artists invite you to participate beginning with the opening.
